Red Horse Mountain Ranch, an Adventure Vacation Destination in Harrison, Idaho,
has a strong commitment to excellence for both our guests and our employees.
Our staff goal is to provide our guests with an amazing, safe, and memorable
ranch vacation. Our staff's first priority is our guests. Red Horse Mountain
staff are mature self-starters, strong in customer service and communication,
and appreciate being in the outdoors.Red Horse Mountain Ranch is seeking a
seasonal chef position. The chef is responsible for preparing family-style,
buffet, and 7-course meals for up to 70 guests and staff. This position will
primarily be working the lunch and dinner shifts, so the chef should be able
to prepare proteins using a variety of cooking methods.The kitchen and food
storage areas are on separate floors, so all staff must be physically able
to walk up and down a full flight of stairs repeatedly each day and must be
capable of carrying 50+ pounds up and down stairs and across uneven ground,
as is necessary. Must be able to work as a team player with minimal supervision.
This position is being offered with or without housing (a shared bedroom and
common area) and meals. The position requires a flexible and willing person
to work long hours which are dependent on guest counts, approximately 50 hours
per week. Wage depends on experience.
